Two weeks, two losses, two suspensions

So of course we’re here to tell you, again, that not everything is lost.

There are some looming lineup changes, but that’s life in MLS. You’ve got to roll with the punches.

If you believe this is a championship-quality team, then it’s about the long view, not the right now.

Nonetheless, Patrick Johnston and Marc Weber note, the short term presents big challenges. There are the Seattle Sounders, for instance. The Whitecaps are again on the road this weekend.

There’s the visit of the Houston Dynamo a week from now, on an international weekend, one which will present some big challenges to the under-siege Whitecaps backline.

But nothing is lost. This is game three.
