Try and Tackle Podcast for June 12

rugbyInternational season is fun, for players and especially for journalists.

Canada struggled against Japan last weekend, but the challenges aren’t exactly trying. The scrum had troubles. The defence lost its shape at crucial moments.

But those can be fixed.

Now the two North American sides switch opponents.

Scott Hastings joins Patrick Johnston to set up Saturday’s Canada vs Scotland showdown at BMO Field in Toronto. Let’s play a bit of ‘what if’ shall we?

And the full roundtable is back, with Martin Pengelly, Jeff Hull and Curtis Reed joining PJ to look back at last weekend’s results, forward to this weekend’s matchups. There’s also time to chat Elite City Sevens and the Canadian women’s tour.

This is Try and Tackle rugby.
