What does the coach think of Botch, and more from Canucks Media Day

Vancouver Canucks Dan Hamhuis, right to left, Daniel Sedin, Alex Burrows and Henrik Sedin pause for a moment during a news conference in Vancouver, B.C. Monday, April 11, 2016. THE CANADIAN PRESS/Jonathan HaywardIt’s the Pat-Cast that ends them all.*

(*to end the season, that is.)

The Canucks players and staff had their final conversations with the media earlier this week. Lots was learned, like what does Willie think of this week’s guest, Jason Botchford? What did Radim Vrbata’s terrible second season teach the team, if anything? This Stecher kid, is he something? Why didn’t Thatcher Demko meet with Jim Benning in Tampa?

Will the World Cup wipe out the Sedins before the 2016-17 season eve gets going? And what was with this analytics conference last weekend – Botch was there, what did he see and hear?

Oh, and did you notice one player didn’t face the media on Monday?

As always, Jeff Paterson as always is here directing traffic, on the Pat-Cast, powered by Province Sports Radio.
