In Province Sports Radio Monday, Paul Chapman and Jonathan McDonald dig into the world of sports. In the first period they look at the NHL All Star Game and all star games in general, is it a bad thing that the games are all gimmicks? The fact they probably won’t last can be fodder for criticism, but ultimately, it was fun and got people talking.
In the second period the lads look ahead to the Canucks schedule in February and how favourable it is. They have no onerous trips and most of their opponents look like teams they can beat. What strategy does GM Jim Benning employ at the trade deadline if the team really makes hay this month?
In the third period Jonathan and Paul get into the Super Bowl, and is this the week Cam Newton really becomes a superstar? He’ll garner the attention all week during the media shenanigans, but will it payoff on Super Sunday?
Come back every week to hear the boys dig into the world of the Canucks, the other local teams and the world of sports overall.
