Chapman and Willes: Sinking Canucks, the Olympics, the Whitecaps’ direction and The Masters

(AP Photo/Mark Humphrey) ORG XMIT: TNMH114Ed Willes joins Paul Chapman to talk about the Canucks, their epic sink below the Arizona Coyotes and what this season really means for their future. Ed believes this season is rock bottom and while the climb may be slow, they will be better from here on it.

They talk about the NHL’s decision not to go to the Olympics. And while Paul like to argue with Ed, there’s consensus here, this is a really, really stupid decision.

The lads also talk about the Whitecaps and while they were heroic in some fashion this week in a loss they were clearly outclassed by better opposition, where is the team situation moving ahead.

Last, they talk Masters, and Paul, a very casual golf fan, asks Ed, a purist of the game, if it’s OK to cheer against a certain golfer, hope for misfortune and see their tournament explode or if that is poor form.

All that and more in 35 minutes of Province Sports Radio.
