Guerrara makes the case that well planned communities are far more than just buildings – they’re parks, walkways, schools and community centres – all the things that make a neighbourhood desirable.
She thinks progressive development means integrating all the aspects of the community in the planning process before a single shovel hits the ground.
An active member of ULI British Columbia, Guerrera currently works in Vancouver as a sector lead of community development with Stantec, leading an interdisciplinary team to create healthy and resilient communities through sustainable land use and development.
